Magnolia Sax 24x24 in.
As an artist I’ve painted many saxophones, but this one was special. Magnolia Sax (Louisiana State flower) was created with an earth tone background; the bottom half of this beautiful piece was done with a palette knife using a color i fell in love with called Paynes Grey giving its cooler more naturalistic appearance. The top half was done with mixture of Raw Sienna mix with Yellow Ochre and white. and touches of red and green. Together this delivers a harmonious blend for lovers of earth tones and soul sound
