At the Straits of Gibraltar lies ancient Cadiz, home
of the Giant Geryon whose island was later adopted by the Atlantic Phoenicians. The history of Corsica and Sardinia likewise says that
their great astronomical, religious towers called Nuragica were built by
African sea kings. It seems incredible that all these countries report African
Giants who not only were the earliest inhabitants of these many countries, but
that they were also the builders of their most magnificent megalithic
structures.
For the first time these different sources from diverse countries are
analyzed and compared. The picture that emerges is of an ancient cultural
context along the Atlantic coastlands of Europe and Africa.
Myth and history combine to present a tapestry that seems to underline the
truth of the Atlantis legend. One of the ancient maps that must have been copied
over and over again during a long decline in global navigation -actually shows a
beautiful bay full of islands and peninsulas near the forests of Old Marmora in
the Province of Fez above Morocco. We feel that the
gods of the Greeks and Egyptians were born on this bay. Earthquakes and
tsunami utterly eradicated this colony of Atlantis -possibly about 9,000BC, as
the Egyptian priests told Solon. The destruction of this major colony of
Atlantis on the Old Bay of Marmora
rekindled the much older memories of a great island located upon the far reaches of
the Atlantic. These most ancient recollections were appended to the more recent
natural disaster at the colony at Marmora in Fez and Morocco.
A cyclical flow of culture around
the world emulates the cyclical actions
of astronomy, the laws of nature and the universe.
This viewpoint opens up our
understanding of a relationship between history, myth, and
astronomy.
Amazingly, a cyclical flow of culture
precisely decodes the sequence of the Greek-Egyptian 'Generations of the Gods'.
Finally, myth, astronomy, and
history are brought together to allow us to penetrate the ancient
worldview.

Myth and the Cosmic Cycles available soon
Diodorus Siculus
Diodorus of Sicily was an outstanding compiler of ancient histories written by
noted authors that came before him. Both he and Herodotus have been abused by
academia because of their faithful acceptance and uncritical retelling of those
reports. In the world of forensic science this would qualify Diodorus as the
most excellent historian, who has not twisted, disturbed, or commented upon the
evidence that he has viewed. Much of Diodorus’ material was drawn directly from
Dionysius of Mitylene, nicknamed Skytobrachion (“of the leathern arm”), who
flourished in the city of Alexandria in the second century BC; and doubtless
availed of the unique sources of the great library. This careful transportation
of ancient material from a library that was burned down and no longer exists
should qualify Diodorus Siculus for some manner of distinguished service award
–yet he remains disparaged for his gullibility.
Siculus (III.56) begins the history of Skytobrachion by making a very telling
statement in saying that the accounts of the Greeks concur with those of the
Atlantians. But Greek accounts could only resemble those of the Atlantians if
the Greeks or their rulers originally came from the Atlantians. There could be
no other possible reason for them to possess matching traditions:
But since we have made mention of the Atlantians, we believe that it will not be
inappropriate in this place to recount what their myths relate about the genesis
of the gods, in view of the fact that it does not differ greatly from the myths
of the Greeks. Now the Atlantians, dwelling as they do in the regions on the
edge of the ocean and inhabiting a fertile territory, are reputed far to excel
their neighbors in reverence toward the gods and the humanity they showed in
their dealings with strangers, and the gods, they say, were born among them. And
their account, they maintain, is in agreement with that of the most renowned of
the Greek poets when he represents Hera as saying:
For I go to see the ends of the bountiful earth, the realm of Oceanus and mother
Tethys, source of the gods.
Siculus continues the account of Skytobrachion saying that Uranus was their
first king, and he subdued the west and regions to the north while he gathered
the people into walled cities and taught them laws and to cultivate, conserve
and store fruits. Uranus was an astronomer and cosmologer who introduced the
calendar based upon the movements of the Sun and Moon. He also foretold many
things which would take place throughout the world. The people marveled at his
predictions and his knowledge of the stars, and thought that he partook of the
intelligence of the gods; and they used his name as their appellation of the
heavens.
One of the wives of Uranus was Titaea, mother of the Titians, who was later
called Ge. Other children of Uranus were Pandora and Basileia, later called the
‘Great Mother’. Basileia united with Hyperion and they had two children called
Helius and Selene, who was also called Mene. Helius was slain by the Titians. At
this event Basiliea went mad and toured the world in disheveled frenzy. The
Phrygians and Lydians also honor Basiliea under the name of Cybele. She and
Marsyas journeyed to Dionysus in the city of Nysa where they found Apollo
singing and playing the lyre. King Midas of Phrygia greatly honored
Basileia-Cybele, called ‘Great Mother’ with statues accompanied by panthers and
lions because it was said that she had been nursed by these animals. These are
the stories shared by both the Phrygians and Atlantians.
[Again, it may be seen that Atlantic traditions (also Perseus & Argonauts) were
carried to Asia Minor after the great earthquakes shook the seaboard to pieces
and destroyed the ancient Island of Triton in the Bay of Marmora on the
Atlantic.]
Siculus again takes up the account of the Atlantians saying that after the death
of Hyperion, the kingdom of Uranus was taken up by the brothers, Atlas and
Cronus. The ancient territory of the Atlantians was taken up by Atlas the most
renowned astrologer who first published the doctrine of the sphere, and who has
ever after been portrayed with the sphere of the heavens supported on his
shoulders. Atlas’ son, Hesperus, was also an astronomer who observed the stars
from the top of Mount Atlas. Atlas’ seven daughters were called the Atlantides.
“These daughters lay with the most renowned heroes and gods and thus became the
first ancestors of the larger part of the race of human beings, giving birth to
those who, because of their high achievements, came to be called gods and
heroes…founders of nations and in other cases of cities…consequently…the great
majority of the most ancient heroes trace their descent back to the Atlantides.”
[Here again is the most definite history about the transfer of legends and
people from the Atlantic regions into the Mediterranean]
Siculus continues to say that Cronus, the brother of Atlas, married Rhea with
whom he begat Zeus (Jupiter), the god of Olympus. It should be noted that there
had been a previous Zeus who was a brother to Uranus who was king of Crete and
father of the Curetes. As Atlas ruled over the regions of Fez and Morocco, his
brother Cronus was the king of Italy, Sicily, and Libya. Cronus and the Titians
later attacked Zeus who overcame his father in battle. Afterward Zeus visited
and conquered the whole world conferring benefactions upon humanity. Thus ends
the accounts that Siculus retold from Skytobrachion. Accounts which we are
assured match the corpus of Greek traditions. These accounts confirm the
histories of Atlantis which the Egyptians told to Solon which were transcribed
by the philosopher Plato. Anyone who has read these reports in detail must be
convinced of their compelling veracity and concordance with the accounts from
other nations. And one could only wonder at those who will not believe and
support these traditions.
The mythical Atlantis and all of its colonies did not
disappear in one night. The colonial empire of Atlantis existed over a very long period of time.
Careful reading of classical
literature presents at true picture of life before Egypt, Greece, and the
Middle East.
Myth and astrology are necessary components to understanding
ancient history and science. Knowledge is immense power. And ancient
people encoded precious information into the allegory of myth and astrological
lore. Indeed, a large part of the corpus of classical writing is on the subject
of myth and astrology.
Egyptians and Greeks acknowledge that their gods, ancestors,
science, and culture came from a place in the Far West and on the shores of the
great ocean outside the Straits of Gibraltar. The Annals of Ireland also
report that their original inhabitants were exceptional navigators and builders
who came from the coasts of Africa. British historians recall that the great
stones of Stonehenge were brought by Giants from Africa. The history of Sardinia
tells that their multitudes of great astronomical towers were built by their
earliest inhabitants from North Africa.
The greatest astronomer of all times, Atlas -who holds the
celestial globe upon his shoulders, lived in Fez and Morocco on the tide lands
of the ocean named after him, and made his observations on the mountains
that were named after him in honor of his glorious achievements. The Pleiades /
Hesperides who guard the Golden Apples became the matriarchs of most of the
noble families of the Mediterranean. The Greek myths report that Hercules
traveled to retrieve the Golden Apples, and to learn cosmology from Atlas who
allowed him to hold the heavenly sphere.
On an extraordinary placid ocean, Julius Caesar defeated the
most powerful fleet of deep-ocean vessels of the Atlantic Veneti of Brittany
near Vannes and Carnac, the megalithic site of the greatest stone
alignments in the world. Traditions and stone-carving of the area strongly
mirror megalithic Newgrange in Ireland.
The philosopher Plato relates that Solon of Athens brought the
tradition of an advanced culture outside the Straits called Atlantis from the
priests of Egypt. Didorus Sicilus tells that colonies of Altantis existed
in the regions of Fez and Morocco where Atlas once lived.
The above information suggests that a
number of sources have identified a major cultural context out on the Atlantic
prior to the rise of Greece, Egypt, and the Near East.

The question should be asked; Why
is this amazing and documented history not recognized nor publicized?
A worldview
of the cyclical flow of culture around the globe seems to be suggested by the
above evidence.
Knowledge is power
-and an accurate worldview is indispensable.
