-the most important new scientific fact
Claudius Ptolemy, chief astronomer, astrologer, and cartographer of the Alexandrian school of scientists, had the authority and power to change the position of the world Prime Meridian of longitude to the capital of the world -which was Alexandria at that time.
But strangely, Ptolemy did not arrange his new maps with Alexandria as zero degrees longitude, the Prime Meridian. The question is, Why did he not do this? He had the power. He had the authority. If not Alexandria, why not give this distinction to the most impressive geodetic markers in the world, the Pyramids at Giza?
This is really one of the most important scientific questions in the world. In the 17-18th century, when Great Brittan became the most powerful country in the world, their chief astronomer, Flamsteed (1646AD), had no hesitation in choosing Greenwich, England as the Prime Meridian -a position which has endured into modern times.
The answer to these queries is perhaps more simple than one would think. Alexandria was the scientific nexus of the world with the best libraries, scientists, and scholars. The only imaginable solution to this problem is that there was a scientific tradition regarding the placement of the Prime Meridian. Throughout all of ancient history, maps were consistently produced with a Prime Meridian located just off the coast of North Africa, in the vicinity of the Cape Verde Islands, the Canaries, or Madeira.
Greek-Egyptian mythology places Elysium, or Heaven, upon the Isles of the Blessed, and older name for the Canaries. Something very extraordinary must have happened here. Some great scientist, benefactor of mankind, or Revelation to mankind must have occurred here. Perhaps it was the birthplace of Dionysius, who fits the above description as a great benefactor. Sixty degree to the west of these Isles of the Blessed is the most remarkable astronomical site of the Granite Spheres in the vicinity of San Jose, Costa Rica. While sixty degrees to the east of the Isles of the Blessed is Jerusalem.
The answer is that Greenwich is a Prime Meridian of the Cycle of Civilization.
Costa Rica - Canary Islands - Jerusalem are Prime Meridians of the Cycle of Culture.
The ancient map-maker's tool is the double-equilateral-triangle, familiar to us as the Star of David. A six pointed star divides the globe into segments of 60 degrees. And 6 x 60 degrees = 360 degrees.
We also notice that if we are to look at a globe, with Jerusalem in the
center (an Azimuth projection), that this perspective comprehends
Africa, Asia, and all of Europe. But, at the opposite pole on the other side of
the world to Jerusalem -there appears
almost no land at all, but only islands and ocean. The disposition of the
continents indicate the primacy of Jerusalem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. This kind of continental
arrangement is beyond coincidence. It is regulated by the Cycle of Culture.
