The myths of the Egyptians and Greeks report that their gods, science, and culture originated on the Atlantic coastlands of African Fez and Morocco. The annals of Ireland and England say that the first occupants of their islands were African Giants who built the great megalithic tombs, forts, and astronomical structures such as Stonehenge and Newgrange in Ireland. The amazing arrangements of the stone avenues of Carnac in Brittany were the home to the deep-sea travelers, the Veneti, whose traditions are identical to the African Giants of Ireland. At the Straits of Gibraltar lies ancient Cadiz, home of the Giant Geryon whose island was later adopted by the Atlantic Phoenicians. The history of Corsica and Sardinia likewise says that their great astronomical, religious towers called Nuragica were built by African sea kings. It seems incredible that all these countries report African Giants who not only were the earliest inhabitants of these many countries, but that they were also the builders of their most magnificent megalithic structures.

For the first time these different sources from diverse countries are analyzed and compared. The picture that emerges is of an ancient cultural context along the Atlantic coastlands of Europe and Africa.

Myth and history combine to present a tapestry that seems to underline the truth of the Atlantis legend. One of the ancient maps that must have been copied over and over again during a long decline in global navigation -actually shows a beautiful bay full of islands and peninsulas near the forests of Old Marmora in the Province of Fez above Morocco. We feel that the

gods of the Greeks and Egyptians were born on this bay. Earthquakes and tsunami utterly eradicated this colony of Atlantis -possibly about 9,000BC, as the Egyptian priests told Solon. The destruction of the Old Bay of Marmora rekindled the much older memories of an island located upon the far reaches of the Atlantic. These most ancient recollections were appended to the more recent natural disaster at Marmora.
